Recovery is rarely an overnight process. Every survivor has a different experience, different needs and different aspirations. Our approach therefore emphasises respect, confidentiality, compassion and the individual\u2019s right to make informed choices about their own journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8 wp-block-paragraph\">Support may involve connecting individuals with appropriate psychosocial, healthcare, legal, livelihood or community resources, depending on their circumstances. We also recognise that sustainable rehabilitation often requires more than immediate assistance\u2014it may involve rebuilding confidence, developing skills, strengthening support systems and creating pathways towards independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9 wp-block-paragraph\">Our ultimate objective is not to define people by what they have experienced.
